Del Group A/S – the company behind SmartCare

We design solutions around everyday practice

Del Group A/S develops digital solutions that support frontline professionals. With SmartCare, we bring sensor data, alerts and documentation together in one platform that can be used across municipalities and providers.

Nordic context and strong local anchoring

We are based in Roskilde and work with Nordic municipalities, regions and private actors. Our starting point is always local workflows, quality and safety for both citizens and staff.

From pilot to full operation

We typically start with a pilot on a limited scale, where we jointly test flows, alerts and documentation – and then scale when documented value is in place.

How the SmartCare flow works end-to-end

  1. 1

Sensors in the home register activity, movement, door events, falls or other events.

  2. 2

Data is sent to the SmartCare backend, where rules and thresholds decide whether an alert should be created.

  3. 3

Alerts are prioritised and routed to the relevant dashboards and teams.

  4. 4

Staff acknowledge, document and act – all steps are stored as an audit trail.

  5. 5

Management and partners can access reports, KPIs and quality documentation.

Technology, integrations and security

Role-based access and audit logging

The platform uses role-based access control. Every action can be traced and the alert log supports both learning and external supervision.

Open integration architecture

SmartCare can connect multiple generations of sensors and welfare-technology devices through open integration layers.

Data protection and operations

Data processing is aligned with applicable regulation and local policies. Operations and monitoring are planned together with each customer.

Examples of SmartCare in daily operations

Below are typical scenarios where SmartCare can make a difference.

Use case image placeholder

Early detection of changed night-time activity

Night-time movement patterns may indicate restlessness, confusion or increased risk of falls. SmartCare can provide an earlier signal.

Handling falls for high-risk citizens

When a fall is registered, an alert is sent to relevant teams, enabling a fast and documented response.

Supporting the transition from hospital to home

After discharge, SmartCare can provide a time-limited additional layer of monitoring and reassurance for citizens and families.
